Karleen Bradford was born in Toronto, Ontario but left Canada at the age of nine to live in Argentina.
She later returned to Canada to attend University in Toronto.
She has written numerous books for children, juveniles and teens.
She has written a book in the Dear Canada Series called With Nothing But Our Courage.
When she is not writing she enjoys reading, quilting and hiking.
